An Evening in Paris - Pepsi Chef Bonanza at Forty 4 Restaurant

On 5th April 2012 , Pepsi along with Forty 4 Restaurant hosted a show titled "Chef's Bonanza", where a renowned chef fromFrance Chef Jean Micheal Fraises’ was to perform a 6 course set menu meal along with his team. Accompanying this luxurious Meal was live entertainment by Ms.Flodie Hec (Flown in from Paris), who was to sing and perform live in front of the guests present at the venue.
The 6 Course order startded of with mushroom crème soup, which is exactly not a crème soup but a Virute,and the basic difference between the two is that a chicken stock is used instead of milk to thicken the soup. The second dish was traditional Southern French dish, which the chef was hopeful would be loved as it was a fusion of the traditional sweet combination. The third dish was Fish served with nutsandapple crust on the top, something the chef said was traditional but yet modern. The fourth dish was Chicken Ala Kiev, a mixture of grilled chicken served with butter, traditional mashed potatoes, just to give that rich texture to the main course and it was supposed to be served with fresh orange juice. And the last thing on the menu was the desert which was thechef’s personal favorite soft centered chocolate cake served with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream.
So all in all a fabulous night of great food and entertainment, the French delicacies were worth the wait and frenzy surrounding the event along with the live singing as the singer stood by her pedigree and delivered a flawless performance that sort of summoned the night for everyone present at the event.
